Huelva, 29 de septiembre de 2026.- Los datos de las maniobras de practicaje fluyen ahora directamente desde las unidades SafePilot de Trelleborg hacia las operaciones portuarias, reforzando la seguridad operativa y garantizando la trazabilidad completa de las maniobras en una única visión operativa. El primer despliegue ya está operativo en el Puerto de Huelva.
La empresa Hiades, propietaria de los productos tecnológicos marítimos de la marca Amura Smart Solutions, ha anunciado la exitosa integración de la Portable Piloting Unit (PPU) SafePilot de Trelleborg con la plataforma Aurora SmartPort. Los datos generados por la unidad SafePilot del práctico durante una maniobra de un buque se muestran ahora en tiempo real dentro del ecosistema de Amura, mejorando la seguridad, la trazabilidad y la visión operativa común para todos los actores implicados. El primer puerto en el que esta integración ya está operativa es el Puerto de Huelva (España) y se desplegará también en otros puertos donde estén implantadas las soluciones de Amura.
Por qué es importante esta integración
Hasta ahora, la información generada durante una maniobra de practicaje permanecía a bordo y solo estaba disponible para la tripulación. Con esta integración, el puerto y el práctico trabajan sobre una misma visión operativa en tiempo real durante los minutos más críticos de la escala de un buque.
Para los equipos de operaciones portuarias, esto supone disponer de una visión en tiempo real de las maniobras en curso, mostrada junto al resto de información que el puerto ya gestiona: una única pantalla, una única visión operativa. Para los prácticos y los servicios náuticos, supone contar con un registro objetivo, segundo a segundo, de cada maniobra: un reflejo factual de cómo se ha desarrollado cada operación, de gran valor para la revisión posterior y la mejora continua del servicio.

Desarrollado por la división Marine & Infrastructure de Trelleborg, que engloba las operaciones de navegación y practicaje de la compañía, SafePilot proporciona a prácticos de todo el mundo datos de navegación en tiempo real y herramientas de apoyo a la toma de decisiones. El despliegue combina las unidades PPU de SafePilot y su software de navegación con SafeCloud, la capacidad de intercambio de datos de Trelleborg, que permite transmitir de forma segura los datos de practicaje desde el dispositivo del práctico hasta sistemas conectados como Aurora SmartPort.

Huelva, 29 September 2026.—Data on pilotage manoeuvres now flows directly from Trelleborg’s SafePilot units to port operations, enhancing operational safety and ensuring full traceability of manoeuvres within a single operational view. The first deployment is already operational at the Port of Huelva (Spain).
Hiades, the company behind the Amura Smart Solutions brand of maritime technology products, has announced the successful integration of Trelleborg’s SafePilot Portable Piloting Unit (PPU) with the Aurora SmartPort platform. The data generated by the pilot’s SafePilot unit during a vessel manoeuvre is now displayed in real time within the Amura ecosystem, improving safety, traceability and a shared operational view for all stakeholders involved. The first port where this integration is already operational is the Port of Huelva (Spain), and it will also be rolled out to other ports where Amura’s solutions are in place.
Why this integration is important
Until now, the information generated during a pilotage manoeuvre remained on board and was only available to the crew. With this integration, the port and the pilot work from a single, real-time operational view during the most critical minutes of a vessel’s call.
For port operations teams, this means having a real-time view of the manoeuvres in progress, displayed alongside the rest of the information the port already manages: a single screen, a single operational view. For pilots and nautical services, it means having an objective, second-by-second record of every manoeuvre: a factual account of how each operation unfolded, which is of great value for subsequent review and the continuous improvement of the service.

Developed by Trelleborg’s Marine & Infrastructure division, which encompasses the company’s navigation and pilotage operations, SafePilot provides pilots around the world with real-time navigation data and decision-support tools. The deployment combines SafePilot’s PPU units and navigation software with SafeCloud, Trelleborg’s data exchange platform, which enables pilotage data to be securely transmitted from the pilot’s device to connected systems such as Aurora SmartPort.
